Just Friday

Well not much to mention today. It's friday night and a bunch of the girls went out for drinks. I decided to stay in. Sure, that's a little anti social, but the blisters I gained earlier this week are only growing, and I wanted to rest the poor footsies as tomorrow I will be walking around Belfast for half the day. The flat mates bought the train tix and we leave at 8am tomorrow to get into town to catch the train. I dont know much about about that at the moment, but will be sure to update you (maybe even with pictures) on how the trip goes.

So that was one question that had been asked of me (how are the blisters)... they're still there.

Another question was how to pronounce 'Luas'. It's like saying the word "loose" and throwing in GiGi's favorite bad word -> A-S-S (sorry GiGi, I'm too far away for you to hit me!!) or the sound 'iss' (like kiss). So it's like loo-iss.

Another answer - I did get my loan check and I turned it into the Bank of Ireland, but it will be a few days til they get it settled. The guy I talked to was very helpful tho saying that if I was stuck and needed money sooner they would work something out, so that was nice.

And the last answer I can think people have asked - No, I didnt get my 50 euro back from Luas ppl when I tried to top up my card. They told me the machine returned the money a few minutes later (once I would have been on the tram) meaning that if that is the case, someone else got my money.

I did have one class today. It was difficult to get up today, after feeling like I had a mid week Saturday, yesterday. But I got up there and met my class mates outside where we had planned earlier this week. Then we walked thru a new building together until we found our room. Again it was just the 6 of our class in Music and Ireland 1. The class was good but the room was chilly and I wanted to get a blanket and curl up, so I kept yawning the whole time. Then one classmate and I went off campus and tried out a crepe restaurant which was good (and packed), and we both talked about how we want to take more pictures but feel weird doing it since we arent the tourists (and when you're trying to make your way to class the tourists just get in the way!!). We'll probably hop on one of those tourist busses one of these days so we can take pictures!

Maybe tomorrow in the windy-low 50s I'll have some Belfast pictures to bring you! Or maybe i'll just have bleeding feet and a whole in my credit card :-)
