As a quick update, tonight I went to a ceili in the front square on campus. It was really cool. If you are living in Ireland, this seems like the perfect thing to do. They had a traditional Irish band and they showed us steps and my flat mate Caroline and I danced together! I took a quick video of the Cumann Gaelach committee showing us the first dance we learned (at the end is a shot of my American flat mate Maria)
I had a picture with Stephan who is on the committee. I specifically got his picture because I knew that Lisa would loooooove him (and I told him so). Lisa, if you come to Ireland, this is the guy you'll wanna talk to to :-)
The girls only picture is Caroline, from England, and our new friend Nike (neeka) from Holland, who speaks Irish very well.
Love it, cousin!!! You make me smile! and you are right--he's totally adorable! :) I can't wait to come and visit and hear everyone speaking irish! It was so good to talk to you today--even though it was very brief. I really hope you're able to get Skype up and running so I can bug you whenever I want :)
