Ahh, Venice

Ok, I'm not going to write much because there are so many pictures, and believe me, I took a whole lot more! And it's pretty self explanatory.

Venice is basically a place where lots of little islands are connected by bridges. There are no cars in Venice because there are no roads. If you wanna get somewhere, you walk or grab a boat/gondola. You'll notice I took a picture of the trash boat. Hey, they've gotta get their trash picked up somehow!!

Also, Venice gets flooded all the time. The main church we visited is flooded almost every day of the year because the building is so incredibly heavy that the land is lower and all the water slides on down...

The pix start with our boat ride at night. It was raining so if you see little white spots in the pictures, it's the raindrops. You'll also hear me on the phone in the background of the 2nd video talking to my mom and teasing LeeAnn at the same time, so... Just ignore that!

Then we took a morning ride in a covered boat, thank goodness, since it was still raining a bit. Then made it to the main square of Venice. You'll see a short video of two sculptures on a tower while a bell is ringing. It's hard to see in the video but they are actually ringing the bell. Kinda funny...

You'll my spaghetti "mamma mia" - that's the name for it and I'd seen that several places. It just means spaghetti and meat balls. Come on, it's Italy! Gotta have that! And again, OMG! It was sooo tasty! Seriously people, if you wanna taste the best food ever, you HAVE to visit Italy. I'm getting hungry just looking at that picture of spaghetti!!
