My Tuesday

Because I know all of you do nothing but wait for my post, here I am.

To start off, I think I've found a happy medium for when to leave in the morning. 2 weeks ago I left at 7:30 am to get to my 9am class and got to campus just after 8am. Too early. Then last week I left about 8:10 and made it to class just a few minutes before it started. Today I left around 7:50 and that worked out. I didnt take the first Luas that came along, but since I was ahead of schedule I had no need to rush. I went ahead and squeezed on the next tram, which was fine because it cleared out on every stop we hit. I was the first to class, but at least I got there by taking my time. No rushing. That's better.

I had my Theatre lecture this morning. Wrote plenty of notes. Very exciting. Then we walked in late, as will be the norm, to the research seminar. After that we got lunch next door and the prof who runs that class sat with us. He's in charge of the summer school in Germany this coming summer, which is for doctoral students and masters students who may want to get their doctorate. So we talked to him about that. It's only 2 week long during July and he said it could even be used for our dissertation. Plus 75% of it is paid for since it is run thru the school. That's including food. So... that's an option. I may go to Germany for 2 weeks...
Then lastly I had my Irish Cinema class. I'm enjoying it more. I'm following him more. He played a few more silent films but gave commentary during them so it was easier to be alert and follow along.

At this point I'm really starting to think about and get ideas for my essays and dissertation. We have 1- 3,000 word essay due in each module (Film, Music & Theatre) due in late November. Then we have to have our dissertation thesis, I think, ready in January.

I came home and found that I had a package waiting for me. A care package from my parents to be exact. It was filled with Ramen noodles, some dry pastas, the good toilet paper, my book from AB, Sullivans Island, which accidentally returned home with my parents, a Glenn Beck book that looks funny, Welch's fruit snacks (score!!), mini Cereals (I opened immediately and had the Honey Nut Cheerios) that came with Lucky Charms, which funnily enough, I havent seen here!, Rice Krispie Treats (oh yea!), and my bills... coulda done without the last thing. I think the next thing I'll have is a R.K treat :-) Thanks you guys!!

Sean sent me this link, which I will pass on to you cuz lots of you would enjoy this, but now that i've done it, I want to put on my TV dvds instead of finishing 2 plays tonight! Time to be diligent
