I went to campus early this morning to meet some classmates for an "Irish breakfast". It was real Irish breakfast food but served in the school cafeteria, so it doesnt seem to count. Tara told me I had to get one of everything, which meant the white and black pudding. You know the black pudding is black cuz it's filled with so much blood. Appetizing, right? I got it but wasnt too happy with it. Only had a few bites. But I liked the white pudding (you should google it if you dont know what i'm talking about, cuz it's not at all like "jello pudding")
It's late (for me) so I'm not gonna write long. I havent used my big fancy back pack I bought that can carry my laptop safely, but now it's filled. This afternoon LeeAnn and I decided to go to Cork and Kerry for the weekend. Had we started planning earlier we would have left this afternoon, but instead we'll leave at 9am tomorrow.
I meet LeeAnn outside school at 9 tomorrow and we'll walk to the other Luas line. Hopefully shouldnt be too hard to find. This is the other line on the north side that i've never taken. We'll take the Luas to the train station, which should take us to County Cork, where we'll hang out for a little bit before we find a bus that takes us to Blarney (we're just gonna ask around). We plan to see the Blarney castle - the one Sean crawled up last year, the go to Blarney Woolen Mills - cant wait - then go back to Cork city center to try to find a bus that can take us to Killarney in County Kerry. We are staying at the Best Western International across from the tour place that will take us around the Ring of Kerry on Sunday. After that, as long as the tour doesnt go over, then we'll catch the train back to Dublin. The last train out of Killarney leaves at like 9pm and arrives in Dublin at 8am (there's a big 'lay over' between trains in the middle of the night) so we really want to make the train before that!!
I'll let you know how it all turns out in a couple of days. Check back Monday. Byeee
Love you all!!
Can't wait to hear about the weekend!
