Oh Grrrrr

So last night Maria and I were in the kitchen getting late night snacks and were either a little too loud, or the door to the kitchen announced to the whole place that we were up, cuz a few more girls came to the kitchen one at a time pretty much just to see who was out there! haha. Caroline came out and said she could hear the fire alarm going off in another group of houses, so we all assumed ours would be coming soon. I stayed up til 2:30 until my eyes were heavy and I had to go to sleep. I slept well until the extremely loud blaring alarm went off in my room at 7:30am! The alarm is really loud! No heavy sleeper is gonna sleep thru that! Well I got up, a little disoriented, turned on the light, thru on my Columbia City Ballet sweatshirt, some pj pants, since my shorts were too short to go outside in, and was trying to put on flip flops when I could hear the girls outside my door yelling 'kerry come on'. I was not the last one out, but we finally made our way outside, to the sports complex, which as it turns out, is not the correct place to go incase of a real emergency, and then made me wonder why these idiots would have us practice going to the wrong place. I mean, if we have a fire tomorrow night, everyone is gonna head back to the place we were this morning, not to the correct place. That was a little ridiculous to me. Isnt the point of the fire drill to practice the correct way of doing things in case this happens for real? Then why would they send us to a different place...

As you can see, I was not too happy about this. I was just saying to my class mates yesterday that I needed to take advantage of today as far as sleeping in goes cuz next Thursday is likely I will be going to the Garda (immigration) and will probably be getting there by 6am - I'll explain at a later date why so early. So I wanted to enjoy this day to sleep in. Any other day this week would have been fine to have a 7:30am drill. Tomorrow I'm waking up at 8am, so 7:30 wouldnt have been such a big difference. Tuesday I wake up at 6:30, so I'd be up and around, like a few of my flat mates were this morning.

And if we had had the alarm at 2am last night, that's fine. Cuz at least I'd get to come back to bed and sleep in thru the morning.

But this is how it landed. The thing is, i felt like I was gonna throw up the whole time. Especially when we went from cold outside to back in the gym which was stuffy with a few other houses stuffed in there. Then I was really sick to my stomach. Oh well. It's done. I got back, aimed the fan right on me and went to bed up until about noon.

Now the decision today is whether we are going to go to Cork for the weekend (Blarney, Ring of Kerry) or Galway.
That and I have to study up on music. Gotta show him that I had some idea of what he's talking about!!
